About Us

Software developed to help improve your business

We strongly believe software should help not hinder your business.  It should improve the way you work. Unlike off the shelf packages we will work with you to ensure your Elm7 system does what you want it to do.

Company Values, Ethos and History

The Elmtree Classic Management System was originally conceived by David Llewellyn in 1989 whilst developing software for the Classic British Sports Car Spare Group (now Moss Europe).

He recognised the need for a simple, cost effective parts management system specifically aimed at the classic car market.

Working with many leading suppliers of classic car parts the system evolved into the Elmtree Classic Management System which also included workshop management. Many features were added as the result of suggestions by users.

Known by its users as Elm, the system became widely used, helping to develop classic car parts and restoration businesses throughout the world.

Once again, with help from specialists in the classic car industry, Elm7 carries on that tradition moving parts sales and workshop management onto a new windows based platform.

Not Just For The Classic Car Industry

With over 35 years’ experience in developing a wide range of systems our software developers can assist with your specific requirements. In addition to the classic car industry we have also developed systems for general warehousing and the financial services industry.

He says “I am of the firm opinion that software should be easy to use and make life easier”.
